Cooter55 = 55 because Cooter1 thru 54 were taken
Seriously 55 because my truck is a '55 and the wife keeps calling me an old Coot, decide to call the truck Cooter.
Sherbo - nickname that is part of my last name... but turbo-charged. Not really sure how I even got it. Roommate in college was nicknamed TURBO cause he was such a sloth and took forever to do anything. I was pretty much the opposite; an ADHD kid that was always doing something. I think it started as a play off of my roommates nickname.
People love giving me nicknames based off my last name. This one just felt most appropriate for use on an automotive forum.
I choose to save the driving for pleasure and do my daily commuting and business on a bicycle. I know it is not for everyone but it works for me and save gas money for the 239 Flatty ; )
It's my 56 Merc coe's nick name- not mine. My wife spotted Old Ugly in a field of weeds about 83 when out for a week end drive. She named it Old Ugly, at least I think that's what she was referring to.
I can relate to old ugly. I had a 62 Chevy one ton with the 12 body I used in transfering poles for TV Cable. I called it old ugly but it sure did run good. It had so many rust holes in it that it took two gallons of body filler to fill them all. You should have seen it on the football field at half time with half the high school kids riding on it for home coming.
HwyHogg is my panel truck's name. It's Partly because it's a big beefy vehicle and with a big block it'll be soooo thirsty it needs two g's (as in gas). I will have my avatar as the logo on each side when it's done.
Mine is after my cat. We got her back in 1993 and when she was a kitten she would do alot of dumb stuff. When she would start doing her dumb stuff we would say she is "tarding", so when we got our 1st computer and I signed up for yahoo that was the only name I could come up with and Ive been known as tardster since...
Mine is pretty simple as most are. I live in the Sierra mountains in Truckee and currently own 4 Fords, two trucks and two Mustangs and let go at least another half dozen Fords.
well this is my first post. so that pretty much means unless you guys are stalking me outside my house, I don't know any of you yet. but I figured this was as good a place to start as any. my username was made from what my first and latest hotrod builds were. the first was a 1950 buick super. in the 60s they called that style a leadsled. my latest one is my 1956 f 100. not all that original but it was quick and its easy to type.
