Hey, I am Larry this is my brother Daryl and this is my other brother Daryl. Remember? I used so many parts from my neices 1995 T-bird to make my 1948 F3 into an F1 until I just used MYTBTRUCK for my thunderbird truck.
AXracer: contrary to popular belief It does not mean I am someone who used to race. AX is the abreviation for Autocross, the type of car racing my wife and I still do, and that hardly anyone has ever heard of. That is a shame, because it is a type of real racing that is very safe and inexpensive to do locally, and will teach you driving skills that can save your life. Almost anyone with a driver's license and vehicle can participate in it, yet it can be very intense adrenaline rush and require a great deal of skill to do well. In that resepect it is somewhat like golf, about anyone can go out and enjoy hitting a ball around a course, but it takes a great deal of practice, concentration, skill and talent to be a champion at it.
actually 10 years ago or so I went to the Ford/Mercury Truck Nats in Arthur ( my tree don't branch) Ontario Canada. Met a great bunch of guys from Southern Ontario Classic Pickups and joined their club. Another Rick from the club has a 56 panel so they had to call me something different to keep us apart since I own a panel also..................it stuck
I have spent a lifetime working on air compressors and compressed air equipment. Not very elaborate but accurate. It is also my E-Mail address and username for anything that requires one.

I raced one autocross. Back in the day my buddy and i drove my Triumph TR3 to an autocross in DC. We both entered my car. He came in 3rd I came in 4th. I was really pissed that I got beat by my own car. Back then there was a very active rally scene in the DC area and thats where I did most of my "racing." I'm sure the AX scene is a lot more competitive today.
Once I discovered motorcyles, sports cars were just a distant memory. As they were getting more civilized I gravitated to the raw emotion motorcycles still deliver. I thought roll-up windows were too heavy.
College football nickname that is just a play on my actual name. The first name I'm sure everyone can figure out... the correct pronunciation of my last name is apparently impossible for most people, so Bravo is just a shortened version.

Been at FTE for a long time and I grew up in Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska before it was re named UNL(University of Nebraska-Lincoln) after the regents consolidated a bunch of schools. I guess I beat all the rest of the Big Red fans to the user name.
Last name is Gayda; people butcher that name, so I just go by "theGman" a lot. It's shorter, easy to remember so I use it on my email, etc. because of that.
Little known tidbit which means nothing: I had another name on this forum for years, since about 1996, but I was a bad boy, didn't log on for a long time, so it was taken away by admin. Had a lot of posts I "lost", over 1000 for sure.
