i just put a new autometer phantom boost gauge in my 97 and at about 18 lbs it goes haywire and the needle starts fluttering from 15 to 25. called autometer tech suppoort and they say its perfectly normal, sounds like bs to me, it is tapped into the map line. is this normal i had a issipro and glow shift gauge and put those in and they hold steady. thanks
You need to add a restrictor in the line, like an orfice. I bet that will help, it's helped other brands of boost gauges.
