I've looked for these also. I have found them for some of the bumpsides ('67-'72) but haven't come across any for the '73-'79's.
If all else fails, get a set of the parts manuals (1973-79 series 100/500 Master Parts and Accessories catalog). This is a two volume set, illustrations and text. You can get these on CD from Hipo Books or also I see them on E-bay quite often. They are a really good reference tool. I use them all the time.

I haven't seen any either. So is the entire truck in pieces, or just certain sections? Maybe some of us can help you put humpty dumpty back together again. In reality, it's not extremely difficult, front clip/cab/bed...boom you have a structural exterior again. Engine can be a little more tricky if the internals are disassmbled, but there are books out there for that...as well as trannies, t-cases, axles, etc. So what exactly needs to go back together?

The entire set of the shop manuals is also available in both book and CD versions. There are five volumes, not counting the separate emission systems volume. Between these and the parts manuals you should do okay.
Like 704 denside man said. If you have any questions we here at FTE are more than happy to help if we can.

They are divided into six volumes:
Volume 1 Chassis
Volume 2 Engine
Volume 3&4 Body & Electrical (1 book)
Volume 5 Pre-delivery, maintenance & lubrication
Volume 6 Engine & Emission System Diagnosis
These are the shop manuals used in the maintenance and repair.
Volume 3 & 4 is very general on body assy.
I'm familiar with the assembly manuals that you are talking about. These aren't the ones.
The ones you are talking about were the books for the assembly line workers with details like how wide and long caulking beads are and things like that.

Anyone have a link to those, it would be really cool to have them.

I would like to find a set of manuals myself, I've only been able to find them for the "bumps" nothing for any of the dentsides.
