IRONBULL Bumper

If you are talking about Bill he is not a owner. But you are right he is a ***.

Dude--that is a really nice piece. Maybe you SHOULD take up selling bumpers, but someone has to market them.
The coating on the iron bull is junk too. I bet I could take my pocket knife and have the great majority of it stripped in 15 or 20 minutes. Whatever the white "bonding agent" that's underneath the "liner" is stuck to the metal but not to the liner itself. One bump and it's fractured and peeling, and this one was bought longer ago than the warranty will cover it even though it's been in storage while the owner is in Azkrakistan defending our country. I could get that roll on stuff and do better than what this is. Sad.

I have an ARB full front replacement and i am very impressed with the quality on this thing. I actually saw a tour of their shop on a 4x4 show, most of the welds are made by a robot, plate is CNC cut, pipe is CNC mandrel bent, they even have coputer controlled grinders. Its actually a pretty well run outfit. The mounting was strait forward, all the holes lined up and it matches body lines really well and the finish was nearly flawless. A few things i wish it had are recessed fog lights and a skid plate to cover the factory core support, which seems to be a common problem in almost every bumper i have seen. But all in all the thing is really great...would recommend it to anybody.
Thanks,
Sarge

....? How did you draw it up, cut the pcs, and then assemble it? I think you did a Awesome job on it, but you have more than 140 in it if you count your time as valuable. Still though you did a great job on the front. Whats on the rear?

As far as drawing it up, I just went by the seat of my pants; I knew how I wanted it to look so I just took measurements off the stock bumper so I would follow the lines of the grill and headlights and then cut most of the pieces on a 10 ton shear, bent some on a press brake, and welded 'er up. It's actually only about 7 different pieces of steel.
The rear is still stock, but I plan on building one for that eventually.

Wow, what a piece of garbage! I bought a top gun winch bumper on e-bay for about $800.00 that is way stronger and is not ugly like that p.o.s. . The hookups to the frame on mine are like 1/2 inch steel and way, way bigger and stronger. The winch plate is all 1/2 inch steel and the main part of the bumper is 6" sprinkler pipe. I bought the back bumper as well, and it is the same, way stronger and it was only about 4 0r 5 hundred bucks and the guy at the factory was really cool and helpful. Both bumpers with the shipping were less than $1500.00. They are not rhino coated, but they are gloss black powder coated which I think looks better on a new shiny truck. There are much better options out there than that guy.
