help please
2006 f 550 ic tube keeps blowing i have a metal one but i have no boots for it and ford dont offer them all they have is the plastic does any body know were i can get the boots i need them bad. thanks

Here is something you can try -
Make sure you clean the outsides of the tubes and the insides of the boots with brake cleaner real well.
Then take some hair spray and spray a light coat on the outsides of the tubes and the insides of the boots. Put back together and tighten down the clamps.
It's caused by oil build-up inside of the tubes and the intercooler from the crankcase ventilation system. Perform a search of this (6.0) forum for "CCV Reroute". Said ccv reroute would eliminate the problem.

Once of these days these boots are gonna walk all over YOU!!!!
Go to Ford and ask for part number 6C3Z-6C640-AA to get the whole metal tube with new rubber boots and clamps on both ends or order it here:
