I do not understand it, but (off topic) I will bet a dollar that the voice we hear is from Western Pa or Eastern Ohio.
If he is a Pittsburgher, then I'll believe anything he says. 'Burghers are pretty straight shooters. If they say it, they mean it
Well, in the third video, he was talking about injection pulse length, and explaining that some of the injection times cause the injectors to stop working.
Adding a thousands of a second from the 3.05 MS PW to 3.06 MS PW caused the injectors to fail.
What he was speculating is that the trucks sputtering during pulls at High RPM's is due to this, but wasn't sure.
Unfortunately, he hasn't posted any more video's regarding this.
To bad we have no guys like Jody or Tony to come here to help us with this info in their tuning.

Have you asked over at the PHP forum? I've talked to a fewof the guys who like to play with the software to create their own tunes. Maybe they could offer some novice opinions on this.
I tried following some of that stuff for a while, but without ever seeing the software and whatever it is they see on their computers, it's hard to follow.
I've heard Jody doesn't think the IDM mod is necessary with his tunes. Next time I see Tony, I'll ask him if he thinks it's worth it.
I'm kinda anti php stuff, even with a PHP tuner, just how they treat their customers.
I will have better luck asking jody for advice on my PHP chip than to ask PHP for any info.
Just sayin.
I don't hate my tunes or anything, but, no returning my phone calls or emails, thats just unacceptable.
I know Jody comes here to FTE, but do you ever see PHP in our forum?
Yea, they all hang out in the super duty forum.
I'll send the link to Jody and see if he'll chime in with us.

You mean Diane, right? We all know who really keeps things on track over there.
I haven't been over to the PHP forum since the got it up and running, but I was thinking more along the lines of getting feedback from the regular Joe's who had purchased the tuning software and were playing with it as opposed to getting feedback directly from Bill. A couple of the guys with that software are semi-regulars here.
Mike, the guy who recently broke the 1000 hp mark in his 7.3 uses the tuning software, so I figured if you can figure out how to tune the engine for that much power, you should be able to get a clue as to the IDM stuff.
Cleatus12r (Cody) comes to mind as a good person to ask this question to. He's an ASE tech that likes to play with that tuning software and understands the whole computer and tuning stuff.
The last 2 videos are from the PA guys that really know their shtuff on the IDM.
The "Fuel Injection Controller" seen in the videos is the actual contoller I had them build and is what I use in my flow bench every day.
They found some limits both hardware and software that can be tweaked for performance gains that nobody has previously discovered, as far as I know.
They also decoded the IDM's code and last I heard were in the process of analyzing it to get rid of the Ford restrictions to allow for more neat HP stuff.
Sorry for being vauge, but electronics aren't my thing...
