Adhesive remover?
The plastic window vent visor thingies on my Ex were destroyed by hail earlier this year. Just now getting around to trying to remove what is left of them from my truck.....they are the stick on variety. I do not have anything on hand that will cut the sticky adhesive tape stuck to my doors
I have tried Goo Gone and WD40 combined with some gentle scrapping from a plastic putty knife, no luck. Afraid I'm going to damage the paint. Any ideas on what to use?

I like the 3M General Adhesive Cleaner,
it works great and does not damage painted surfaces etc.
One can last many years. I need another can of it myself.
I used Goo Gone today and it started eating into the black plastic
I was cleaning.

Would it be easier to buy new visors so you don't have to deal with the adhesive? Did you like them before they were damaged?

I'll second the 3M adhesive remover. Works very well, have used it for years. NAPA has it an your local autobody supply store should have something that works.
