Chucked on a new set BFG's 305/70-33" tyres, they were too wide for the standard rims,so bought rims aswell..
Wanted to put a 4" inch under it,but because of this NANNY country i put 2.5" pro comp leveling kit under it,removed the factory 2" rear bump and put in 4" bump stop in the rear.
Because the tyres on the new rims where sticking out 2"s from the guards i needed flares, was gunna set of new bushwackers from the states (too fekkin dear here)mrs said ring the wreckers,i said "yer right the wreckers gunna have a set of FOUR flares intact on a truck "
She said bloody ring em,so i did,you wouldnt beleive it he had just come back from canada with a couple of containers of parts and found a BLACK F250 that had hit a concrete barrier and flipped on its roof and the flares were unscathed,my jaw dropped when he said yes i have a set here and there black,so @ mach3 i was over there (an hours drive) and got em for $350, so i banged them on aswell, wot do ya think.
Next project was to build a roof console and built a computer to go in it.
The 2 guages are for my 2 spare deep cycle batteries. A fan either side 1 sucking air in the other blowing air out keeping the PC cool
Next was 10" screen in the dash
Running centrafuse on the PC, it controls everything..
Oh! Very sweet looking truck man and nice job on the PC though I would go solid state as these are 3/4 ton trucks and a bit bouncy but may i ask what monitor you used and how you mounted it? I would like to do the same thing in my truck just haven't had the time, money and haven't decided how i want to go about doing it.
Sweet looking rig...................I am lovin' the chrome trim on the bushwacker did you do that or did they come that way? oh ya and the computer it very trick.
just a warning those mud terrains are gunna ride like a 2 horse wagon once they get broke in pretty good cause im runnin same size you are same tire and it rides terrible

i pulled the frame off it and just mounted the screen its self,it took me 3 days to build up the courage,i just removed some off the plastic behind the dash face so the screen sat flush up against the dash face then made up couple of little brackets to hold it there..

Ok we'll see what happens,im coopers man,but when they get down to the last 25% they terrible on the wet black top,and i also almost bought a set off Mickey thomsons MTZ's,but a lot of complaints about them chipping badly on the rocks..
b-uno, its not quite that simple as there are 20 some on different connectors on the motherboard powersupply plug and each of those are negative postive and range between 3v/5v/12v usually, its been a very long time since i was looking into building a carputer but the idea is there that all you would need would be 3 main legs of 12v then run full 12v where its needed and then use the neccessary resistors for 3v and 5v of the other two legs.
I have looked into building a machine for my truck as well and in regards to the power supply, there are 12v power supplies that will clean the power and supply the needed 5 and 3.3v that the motherboard will need to function and the power supplies have some pretty neet options like delayed on/off and other things.
