Powerstroke127monroe, welcome to FTE.

This really isn't the appropriate venue for your complaints. This forum is for fans of Ford trucks, not for complaints. If you need help fixing something, then ask. Most of us here are happy to assist. If you have a complaint, call Ford.

If your truck has 30k miles it should be under warranty and you should not be paying for these repairs. The fact that you claim to be paying for them tells me you modified your truck in a way that voided the warranty, or (since this is also your first post) that you may be a forum troll.

Tell us what your issues are and we can help. Actually the 6.4 is a good motor, reliable as well. does have the weak point of the radiators but that is about it.

Powerstroke127- I have the same truck with about 22K on it. I take care of it and have no modifications (other than a couple of fresh bugs on the windshield). Works well for me and plenty of power for pulling the camper. Sorry you are having bad luck with yours, the folks in here can help out if you give them a chance.

OP, no offense, but the first thing that came to mind for me was what RedFord stated, why did you not get it taken care of under warranty instead of paying out the wallet? It would definitely be under warranty with that few miles and that new.

Dont Shoot The Messanger. I love Fords. Ive owned them and lifted them since 99. All were diesels. About the radiator. warrenty did pay for everything i was just stranded with my wife and 6 yr old in on I75 n for 3 hrs. had to rent car to get home, and rent car to pick up at dealer < 180 miles away>. I use f450 for work and the only thing i could get to pull construction trailor was a 2003 DODGE. Thats my only beef is paying 55000 for a truck and it puts you down. yes warrenty paid but what about expenses and dodge rental while it was getting worked on. anyway.... i ordered a 6 " lift and will post when complete.

We're not shooting the messenger, just the message. Like I said earlier, if you have a specific problem we are very happy to offer advice, but this forum isn't about complaining about your trucks. We tend to react in a negative manner to that.

As with any manufactured product, faults are part of the process. This is why we have warranties. Sorry it happened to you, but hopefully the issues were corrected.

I thought I read somewhere that you were out of pocket $1500 or so, that is what made me think you paid for the repairs yourself. What did you have to pay $1500 for?
BTW, the radiator should have been under a recall, if I am correct.
