HOW GOOD IS MOTORCRAFT OIL FOR MY 7.3

JUST WONDERING HOW GOOD THE MOTORCRAFT OIL IS. I USUALLY USE ROTELLA BUT MY LOCAL FORD DEALER HAS A SPECIAL FOR THE MOTORCRAFT OIL WITH A HASTINGS FILTER AND LUBE AND TOP ALL FLUIDS FOR 60.00. IS THIS A DEAL OR NO.

I use rotella just like you. I tried motorcraft a few years ago and for some reason my truck used a quart to a change with motorcraft and used none with rotella. I always use a motorcraft filter now just stay with rotella. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with it that's just what happened to me.

I've been running the motorcraft for a while since it's so much cheaper at WalMart.
IMO it doesn't matter what oil, just change it at 2500 - 3000 miles MAX!

The Rotella seems to work better in mine. Not sure why.

Same here, the motorcraft comes in 6quart jugs where others are 5quart for the same price.

Where do you get it at? The walmarts here have Motorcraft in 5 quart jugs and most everything else is 1 gallon or 4 quarts.

I've always used Motorcraft filters, too, easy to pick out the 1995...

Some of my trucks used (burned) more oil with Delo, Rotella or others. You'll just have to try it and see, seems every truck is different.

5 qt Motorcraft jug at Walmart for the same (or less) cost than the other 4 qt jugs.

I have always used the Delo or Rotella but I have no problem trying the motocraft. Does Walmart have a certain type for the Diesel motors as the Delo/Rotella is suppose to be? Or is it just a certain weight, 15/40?
