E4OD MLPS truck starts in all gears
1993 F-350, 4x4, Crew, SRW, 7.3, E4OD, BW1356, Sterling 10.25 (3.55)
My truck will start in any gear P-R-N-D-2-1.
I am trying to resolve the E4OD limp mode, hard shift, light flashing on shifter issue. FIPL sensor on the IP is new and adjusted 1.1V to 4.3V, tach sensor is also new. Actron code scanner reader threw back a code 67 "receiving improper signals from MLPS".
I replaced the MLPS with a new one exactly as the old one came off. The wiring in the new plug connector is correct and the transmission was in neutral and aligned with the "N" on the new MLPS. No change. The truck still starts in any gear.
What else can I check, tweak, adjust to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions. This is a great forum.

There is a post on another page with a different problem but the solution to your problem might be the same.
Look under the brake master cylinder and steering column for a wiring connector. Look for cracked/broken insulation on the wires. If found clean the wires back to good insulation and individually wrap them in tape.
May not help but worth a look.
And guys, he already replaced the NSS otherwise it was a good suggestion.
