My ole lady forgot to put her in park and she rolled down the driveway and smashed through the split rail fence. The bumper is dented a little and the grill is cracked. I got a '02 EX and was thinking of upgrading to and 05 grill and bumper from the local crash replacement place. What all do I need for this? Bumper mounts etc. Thanks all
The PO of my X put the 07 front end on and I have the receipts. I'll look through what I have and see. I'm sure there are others on here that know for sure.
I have an OEM grill from my 02 Ex. I switched it to the F250 grill. I like that one better. PM me at jh818@aol.com and we can work something out if you're interested.
Someone would probably know more than me. I had to replace the bumper, grill, grill panel and right headlight after a deer j-walked in front of me while going about 45. In my research, the 05' had a different grille panel and headlights in addition to the grille, bumper and all the brackets. Hope this helps.
its not that hard...the bumpers just bolt up together... grill does as well but to do it right you need the 05+ header panel... if you do it this way the new headlights just bolt in... if you dont you will have to modify your older header panel to make the headlights work...
you will also need a 9007 to H13 harness for the headlight bulbs...
i have a link to a write up someone did but its from a diff forum.. if your interested in it just PM me
Yep to do it right you will need the header panel.
I just checked the dealer stuff from the po and it has the header, bumper, grille, and new lights. I'm sure the wiring adapter is here on the sheet as well but I can't decipher the dealer hieroglyphics...
