Bumper grill swap.
Has the issue on whether a 99 up f150 front end (bumper, grill,etc) will fit onto a 97-98 been resolved? Just curipous, I need to replace my bumper and grill and would like to upgrade when I do. Is the inner grill shell needed?

Bumper grill swap.
you need the outer grill sorround, new bumper,new valance, you also need the top plastic peice that goes on top of the bumper, rubber garmet behind the bumper, and a new grill and that's it

you will need to download the airbag. just make sure the battery has been disconnected the for ten minutes and the airbag fuse has been removed for at least ten minutes. do not fool around with the airbag sensors if the fuse is not out and the battery is not disconnected.

Bumper grill swap.
the header panel is the same, you may have to purchase some extra clips from an auto body suply company to accomodate the new pieces but that is not for sure. but the construction of the header panel is the same.
