Where does the white vacuum line go????
I just changed out the IMRC on a 2000 F150 w/ 4.2 and 5 speed. All works well but I have a leftover white vacuum line wrapped in plastic wire loom. It originates on the passenger side of the intake at the same point where the red and green lines come off the intake.
This line is long enough to reach the front of the motor and it does have a strong vacuum on it when the engine is running. It kind of acts like it can reach the throttle body/egr area. Then again it kind of acts like it wants to lay across the back of the motor and go towards the master cylinder area.
BTW this is a 2 wheel drive truck.
Ill try to get a picture up but in the mean time I'd appreciate any input.

That's funny, I just finished up an engine swap on my 2002 F-150 and I have the same hose that I can't find a place for it. I'm still having trouble locating where the white vacuum hose goes, can someone post a picture? Thanks for this post! I have all connections except for this one....and the ground strap from the firewall, but that goes to the back of the engine, right?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
