Shorter belt means smaller pulley, means faster spinning compressor, which doesn't necessarily mean more cold air, just maybe at idle. And... that's CERTAINLY NOT how "underdrive" is defined!!
Oh wait! That says "under pulley". What the heck does THAT mean? Undersized? That means over-driven? Hmmm, that could end up overspeeding your compressor, SHORTENING it's life, couldn't it?
