bolt pattern ?
Ok i have a 87 f250 4x4 and it looks like i have 8x6.5 wheel bolt pattern what years are interchangeable with my truck

Up to and including 97, there was no 98 8-lug trucks and 99 up is smaller. Also Dodge and Chevy use the same 8x6.5" but the center whole sizes veries.

Don't take this to the bank, but I hear the offset on the Dodge wheels suck on our Fords...

so does the offset on a dodge or chevy set the tire, in or to far out.

Not sure on Chevy but I'm thinking it is "in" with the Dodge.. Seems anyone who tries them complain about rubbing and reducing the turning circle...

I'm no expert on any of this, .. Never tried it myself..just passing along what I have heard...

the problem i had with dodge rims was getting them to pull up to the hubs correctly, and then having to beat them off. not fun when have a flat in the pouring rain.

I have a chance to buy a set of wheels 16 inch that are on a 78 f250 i take it they will fit my 87
