Sware it was an Alien
They were driving around up in the hills around Wenatchee, WA, around dusk, just having fun. They stopped at a little pull off to enjoy the view of the city lights below, when all of a sudden.... WHAM!!! The back of the pickup bottoms out from the shock of something falling on it. They freak out and make tracks for home, but they never found anything to explain it.
Then there was the time one of the same guys was sitting in the doctors office, waiting for an appointment. He was looking up at the false ceiling (The kind with lots of little holes in it.) when this face pops out, like one of those 3-D magic eye things. He says it glared at him for a moment, then dissapeared.
I still get shivers whenever he tells that story.

A few years ago, I was hunting/camping on a very remote lake in the northern Maine woods. The lake is maybe two miles from the base of Traveller Mountain.
One evening, I walked down the path to the lake with my flashlight to fetch some water for camp. As I was dipping the bucket, I looked up toward the mountain and saw a very bright light hovering in the sky.
It looked like maybe a big airliner flying low, but the light didn't move, so I figured maybe it was flying "head on" toward me. After watching for quite a while and not hearing any sound at all, I thought it was very odd! It was a very clear night, and deathly quiet.
We had seen floatplanes flying over at that altitude and distance before (but not at night). You had no problem hearing them at all. In the amount of time that had now passed, This "thing" should have definately flew over me by now.
My brother in law (wondering what happened to me), joined me down at the lake. He immediately saw the light too, and we watched it for quite a while together. He asked if it had moved since I first saw it, and I said "No"! He said "Oh *@#%"!
All of a sudden, we watched the light move rapidly to the left and right several times in an eratic pattern, and then descended straight down behind the mountain! We both looked at each other in disbelief, and said "What the %*#@ was that"?
Back at camp, we started talking about the guys from New Jersey who were supposedly abducted in the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. Our lake is not far from there at all!
Needless to say, we slept with one eye open that night!
I got another one that I did not mention. When I was in the 5th grade I was on my way home from school and I notices that It seemed kind of weird this one day. I was about two hundred feet from home and noticed that I had not seen a single soul nothing not even an animal... Then I looked into the sky and say what looked like a giant cigar shaped thing just kind of drifting through the sky. I looked for like five minutes in misbelief and it was still there in the same spot just floating across the sky..... next I ran home and tried to call all my friends that lived near by. Could not get a hold of anyone, this really made me mad so I called My Grandmother and could not even get through... Next I ran back outside to see if it was still there, but this time I had a camera- Bet you cant guess what happened next.... The thing was gone.
Of course. So I went back in the house to try every one again and this time every single person I called was home.
Some things also happed to my mother on her way from work.. she said that she way like the same thing only at night and it was giving off some weird light.
At the time of all these we were living out in the country.
Aliens are one of the few things that truly scare the hell out of me. I don't know what it is even. Maybe it's just the idea that an advanced culture has been hanging around here for a few hundred years now, staying in the shadows, occasionally abducting people, and sometimes tearing apart livestock. It flat out makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
And yes, I went to bed armed after watching Signs.
If I have a nightmare, odds are it involves aliens.
If aliens landed in the middle of the Safeway parking lot at 2:30 on a wednesday afternoon and started talking to me, I probably wouldn't be so frightened, but they always seem to be in the shadows, at night, just at the edge of vision.
