So I used, against the advice of a few on the forum, a Dremel to cut out some of the rust spots in my floor pan. Not bad really, it worked well enough.
Question: you all prefer to use regular sheet metal to patch the holes or the diamond plated sheet metal, and why?

I think most prefer pre-formed sheetmetal, but 12-14 gauge flat sheetmetal would work just as well.
Not sure of the preference for diamond plate unless you are keeping the floor uncovered and just want something neat to look at.
