I took out the old air box and installed the big boost filter. I did it how Clay's instructions on his web site showed to do it. My question is there any concern of water getting to the filter from the bottom from like where the shock mount is.
This has been discussed on here a lot and I believe that the general consensus is that water will not get to the filter typically. We have had members driving through down pouring rain with no water getting to filter. However it isn't impossible to get the filter wet. Just normal driving you should be fine. If you are going through large puddles of water at high speeds then you might need to be careful.
I have had no issues what so ever. and we have severe monsoons in the summer down here.
