Header Opinion

Maybe I searched wrong but I can't find much...

I look and look at all the headers for my 5.4l and they are way to much money. Why? Is there any way around the price like a set of f150 headers or something.....

Anyone got any help for me....

all the excursion headers are outrageously expensive, anyone know where a good cheap pair are? or maybe something from another application?

$600 doesn't seem to bad, IMHO... I've paid $400+ for a header for a 4 cylinder car before

go to summit and look through all the headers for a ford. shorty equal lengths range from about 175 up. What makes the 5.4l special that the headers are 600 dollars when headers for a 302 are dirt cheap. I know there is a whole supply and demand thing but I'm under the understanding that the 4.6 and 5.4 have the same size exhaust ports and spacing. so there is a wide market for these headers.........why so expensive.

And does anyone know if headers for a f150 will fit cause they seem to be alot cheaper.

I be poor....that won't work for me. there's gotta be a better way.

Try this guy, might be able to get something, they have one for the V10. They've gotten pretty good reviews if you do a search.

Nothing for an excursion.......

Anyone on here use anything other then the 600 headers you get from summit? Are there any other options?

Have you looked at the OBX headers on eBay? They are mode for the F150 and Expeditions but may fit your application. They are made of 304 SS and are fully welded. There is a shorty header and a long-tube header available. See links below...
