question on the headers? can i put the headers on and keep the pipe stock all the way to the catalytic connerter without any modifications? can i also hook up the sensors to the headers? looking to buying the headers but i need a heads up to see what i am getting into. other useful info would be appreciated....
Headers only replace the stock headers. The sensors hook up to the exact spot they do on the stock ones. The JBAs are really nice lookin, I have a pic in my gallery. Expect 4-8 hour install though. If you have any questions, lemme know.
They should be a direct replacement for the stock manifold, and I would assume the gaskets, etc. are included with the package. I've never used them, but I've heard tons of mixed reviews on them. From what I conclude, they are an ok header but not for the price. I'm gonna post this sight just for you to see about a different set of headers that will fit your 4.2 for about $312!
You won't find the headers on the sight: Go all the way to the right click panel that reads 'contact us' and dial the toll free number that comes up. Call them and they can custom make them for $299 + shipping. The only downside is a 1 - 2 month wait. I think the JBA's only take a few days. It really depends on what your willing to wait for and pay. Anyways, hope this helps.
from what i hear everyone is alot more satisfied with the mac headers. if you want to get the best part i suggest you order them and wait. don't want to rush into something so costly.
