When a person uses an X-plan, does Ford compensate the dealer in any fashion?
Do dealers try to avoid these types of purchases?
Do all DOC fees still apply?
Lastly, how does X-plan work with manufacturer rebates and other incentives? For instance, I received a $750 customer loyalty voucher from Ford yesterday and it said that "A","D" and "Z" plans are exempt. I'm assuming that this offer is good with x-plan.
I'm not real concerned if the dealer isn't making a killing, just curious.
X plan is above the dealers cost but not by much, a dealer could choose to not sell you a vehicle with the X plan price. Rebates are deducted from the X plan price, it has been 5 years since I have used it and can't remember now if the stupid doc fee's were added before or after the X plan price.
