Waste gate Rod Clip is missing

My waste gate rod clip is missing can anyone tell me what is is supposed to look like? Can I use a "C" clip or an old Ford carburetor rod clip? Anyhelp here would be appreciated.

It is a E-clip. a properly sized C or E clip should work.

I bought an assortment pack in the "HELP" package here's a PIC looks like 1/4 inch

FWIW, mine went flyin one day while I was tweaking the wastegate, and I haven't had one since.

I'd be super surprised to see that rod "bounce" off the lever, or even push itself off the lever.

These work great and are harder to lose as they slide off with your fingers.

These work great and you can use your fingers to install/remove.
