If you are talking about filling the torque converter and the pan, it's going to be in the neighborhood of 15 qts just for the trans. The xfer case holds another 3 qts. I believe, but you fill that separately, it does not fill from the trans.

I just bought 5gal. and put in about 17qts. I bought it in 21/2 gal jugs so its hard to tell but my best guess is it took 17 qt to fill everything from t-case to the t/c. Thanks
