MSLP Sensor ?
I saw this truck ad, about 300 miles away. What is an MSLP sensor for the tranny ?
1992 f250 4x4
reg cab long box
7.3l desiel, auto
200 km
needs MSLP sensor for tranny. ($100 form ford) body in good shap with minor rust above wheels. 285/75r16 tires with 50% tread. new kenwood cd player.
comes with matching canopy.

I think he means to say MLPS or Manual Lever Position Sensor.
It tells the computer where the shift lever is (P R N D 2 1). It also works as a neutral safety switch and backup lamp switch.
Its mounted on the side of the transmission right where the shift arm passes through the case.
