Hmm... very interesting. I can think of many times it would be worth a few bucks to get your rig up on a lift. Prices are reasonable too I think.

good idea, not something i would use as we have a shop at work with a lift and i have a lot of tools 15 bucks an hour sounds reasonable for the service that they provide. dealer and repair shop rates are ridiculous and every time i think im going to take something in to get repaired i just get angry at the cost and end up doing it myself. its an innovative idea i hope it works out for them.

that basically the same thing they have on military bases. there very nice and i use the one here all the time. they only charge $5.50 an hour for a lift or $2.50 an hr for a floor spot. they have all the special tools you need too. like the nice flexplate turn tool so you can drain your tq. im glad to see them coming out in the civilan world.

They are all around in your more populated areas.. and also on military bases for those in the service. I had used them often when I was in the service. It was nice, as you werent allowed to work on your car at the barracks.

They are handy, and nice! I have had to use them before, and well worth the $$$ as you dont have to fuss with finding tools you may not have! Thats the biggest benefit!

I've used the one on my base a couple times. They even have a welding shop and they'll weld your stuff for you if you want for $10 an hour.

Interesting idea. The ones on a military base are different in my opinion. This group is doing it to make a profit and earn a living at it. An average price of $15 per hour, access to alldata, and an ASE mechanic on hand makes it hard to see how you could make any money at it for several years. You'd have to pay off all the tools and lifts before you'd see any income.

Thing is if they buy a place with the lifts already in place that saves money, and I like the idea, wish there was around here so when I had some really odd jobs, but I am use to the barn parking lot.

I think it would be great to have, however i have a shop to use. And even if i didnt i'd rent tools from autozone. I think the DIY would be too much like the shop class in high school. Tools always misplaced, people walking all over the place, too many noises to concentrate. My honest opinion.
