This leads me to believe that your brake booster my be leaking.

Re reading it don't know how I came away with the impression you had replaced the booster with the master from your original post. Need to move closer to the screen I guess!
As BCHauler pointed out if you have a hissing sound coupled with a higher then normal idle its probably leaking sucking air through it all the time.
