Just installed new exhaust from downpipe back. Sounds great, but don't really notice too much more power than stock. Looking for a little more power in 2nd gear towing my travel trailer up hills. If I don't get a run at a hill it seems to bog down between 35-45 mph. Other than that it's fine. I am looking to the next mod that will give me more power for not that much $.
It seems like some of the guys said the 140 resistor mod is good one to do in the first round. I guess it helps deliver some extra fuel to go along with the improved airflow. Should be cheap and easy.
I got mine from a different member on here who had extras. Not sure where he got them from.
I know that there are different size (physically) resistors with the same specs though. Mine was quite large, other guys have smaller ones. I don't care as long as it works!
Did you upgrade the downpipe with your exhaust or is it still stock? Stock downpipe is very restrictive.
FPR shim is good also. Make sure you are getting good fuel pressure, but not too much. You don't want more than 80psi at idle, but should have more than 45psi.
Between 65-75 is ideal.

i had to put 2 inline to get exactly 75k, they are big also. just standard carbon resistors. iam going on a year now, no problems, yet. dang! i said something
