HOT START PROBLUM ONLY

Had the same hot start problem on my 78, swapped the coil and module, checked all of the connections to make sure everything was making good contact still no hot start. Finally put a new distributor in and have not had the problem since.

yea jsut placed in a new distribby and the problum went away starts aton better now to.. when i put the new starter in i orineted the rotor in the SAME EXACT POSITION apparently my old distribby was so messed up that the rotor position wanst correct anymore . had to pull the starter refound TDC by the timein markso n the ballencer then replaced the distribby and rotor twords cyl 1. now i need to get it timed (i dont have a light nor doese anyone else) and tune the carb with an inspection computer (nobody uses or has vaccume gauges anymroe round here! =[)
