Hey Talyn, you're doing these resistor mods on a truck with a chip correct? You still noticed a difference with already having a chip? I thought that this was precisely what the chips did...?

If you have a chip you won't see any gain from the resistor mod. Take it off if you have a chip.

No, my wires are soldered back together. =)

Brownie is right, resistor mod just screws with the chip.

Ah, that's what I was thinking. now I just have to figure out what switcheable chip I want This single stage just don't cut it. With a truck with an auto, do the tuners do any tranny programming with switcheable chips? oop! sorry, didn't mean to thread-jack

Yes sir that's why we recommend a custom tuner becuase they tune the tcm and line pressures to compensate for the added flywheel power
