65-6 floor mats
Hello everyone. Does anyone know of a source for the 65-6 custom cab color key full cover mats that came factory ? Just checking around hoping for good news. My other 65 could stand a better mat.I thought about aqua colored short loop carpet that you see in 60s Fords, but would prefer original type mat. Any ideas appreciated.

If you are looking for correct OE color keyed FULL floor mat...you got but one source...wrecking yard...
Theres 2 variations...4 speed and a/t, 3 speed trucks...the 4 speed had a taller hump. The 4WD and F350 and larger trucks are also different due to the different cab side steps among other things.
The other issue with the repops is they dont have the small amount of mat that is alongside of the seat back to the fuel tank.
BUT upon close inspection of a hunk I snagged off of a parts truck the side parts were somehow or other melted or somehow attached to the main front mat.
The basic 2WD floorpan is essentially the same 65-72 with minor differences. But the floormat as I recall is the same except for the trans. differences.
