Well, he stopped the tally at $3300.
Inner rockers are gone, outer rockers are gone, doglegs need replaced, rust is spreading to the floor on the driver and passenger sides that has to be cut out....
$3300 is about what I paid for it.

It's not like I took it to someone I don't know either - I know this guy and he's a straight shooter. We put it on the rack in his shop and walked around together. He's telling the truth. I had a hard time gauging what I was dealing with without a rack.

thats always the hardest part bill. having a lift really lets you get under a vehicle to inspect easier. hardest part is deciding to fix or replace the explorer. I know my dad needs a new engine in his dakota. the shop called the other day and said he wiped out a main bearing or two and it needs a rebuild or just replaced.
