ok, upon reassembly, I put the left side together and activated the brakes with the right side caliper off. Only 1 piston came out, the other was not moving. So clamp the working one and force the stuck one out. Put it together and test. Most of the pull is gone but still a slight pulsation and pull. Brakes still feel like they should be bled. My other 350's would put you thru the windshield with the same pedal force. And yes if I hammer on the brakes, they straighten out for a while. I guess I'll bleed the system and try to rebuild the caliper, or at least clean the bores.
Service, service, service! My 2000 350 dually 7.3 and my 04 6.0 are exactly the same. Pins in caliper brackets begin to seize after 20,000 - 30,000. Take them apart and clean and all good again.
Oh this will not fix the cold wet first hit pull they ALL have had since 99. Ford tells me it does not exist and that I must be just getting them dirty.

BTW, I also have a 02 f350 with the 5.4 and it does not have any of these problems with the brakes. Same brakes, less weight on front end. I'm no mechanic any ideas?
