i have used the cordless drill trick many times, and it has always worked .turn the plug slowly while gently pulling up and spraying with PB Blaster.
they usually come out real easy, but i did have one autolite that took 10 minutes of grinding before i wore enough away to get it out.
after i do the drill trick, i use a small probe on a hand held shop vac and suck as much crap out as i can, then pull the power wire off the inj pump and spin the engine over to see if any more comes out.
off the beaten path as to stuck glow plugs. is there a particular wrench used to get the glow plugs out or do you need to move the fuel lines to get under them. was thinking about bending a boxed in wrench to see if that would work but if any of you guys could tell me a better way I am all ears. Thanks for any help.
Thank you Festus. I did read it a few weeks ago and was glad I did. I am still learning about diesel's and with your guy's help I have learned a lot over the past couple of months. Thanks to everyone.
