I have a 2004 w/ 3.0L flex, 5 spd that suddenly became hard to start cold. Cranks for 20 sec or so then starts, starts better on 2nd crank. Starts right up if hot. Let it set for a bit and it's back to hard start. We've done a fuel pressure test and replaced crank position sensor. Soooooo IAC? MAF? CIA? FBI?
How old are spark plugs and wires? Also I would clean MAF sensor ( on air intake hose near air filter box). Mine has elements on both sides so be sure to clean both with a shot of electrical contact cleaner.

Do i need to be in the CIA or the FBI to find out the results of the fuel pressure test.........and I am sure you did the test when it was running good and running bad.....and I am sure you did a koeo, a koer and you tested to see how far the psi dropped in 5 minutes after the truck was shut off?
