The OP is probably going to be mad at my comments and maybe I am right or maybe I am just in a bad mood. Someone is going to have this same issue( I know it is a Honda) and do a search. They are going to read though the thread and I want them to see my post. It took until the 13th post for the OP to tell us the year and model of the car and the fact that he had gone to a parts store and they suggested the icm and he replaced it. All of that info should have been in post #1
I try to get people to update there profile/signatures because I know for a fact a lot of veteran knowledgeable members blow off helping people because they see that the OP is not doing his/her best to explain the issue with the car They are taking people like pawpaw for granted. Members like pawpaw don't grow on trees.
So for any one new on forums, take my advice and update your profile/signature or in his case where it was a honda put down enough info on your first post so people can start thinking about your problem. For those that think I am just being a jerk, maybe I am ,but you can't say it's not good advice......
Powersmoked is right on the button, I have personally shut down the comms when the person asking for assistance is reluctant to provide information or perform some simple diagnostic steps.
HEY POWERSMOKED THANKS FOR THE ADVICE.NEXT TIME I WILL TRY AND GET RIGHT,I WAS RELUCTANT TO EVEN ASK ABOUT THE HONDA ON THIS SIGHT.I HAVE CHECKED OUT OTHER SIGHTS SIMILAR TO THIS ONE BUT NONE OF THEM EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE FORD FORUMS.
