push thru bullet caps

has anyone here ran those push thru bullet caps? Ive got a 64 f100 and i'm trying to find some that will fit through the bore opening but im not having much luck. The bore size on my wheels is 3 3/8" which is 3.375". The ones that im finding online that people are saying will fit is a 3.175". i just don't see them working out. maybe im wrong but i cant imagine the flange being wide enough to hole the bullet inside that bore

anyone know where i can find the right size bullets or maybe another option. I could always go with spider caps and might have to shell out the 180 bux for a set but if i can get out cheaper id certainly like to..

thanks

I was going to recommend e-bay as I have been looking at them myself. I powder coated a set of stock wheels from a later 70's truck, they are wider than your 64 and the same bolt pattern.

post that ebay link! Are we allowed to do that? I would be interested in the same thing. I didn't post earlier because I had no help to offer.

I have the bullet caps from ebay on my aluminum slots now. They look very good. My rims are 15x7 so the pointed cap looks better than that bulging flat faced cap. I can put up a picture if needed.

I just bought a set of wheels from earlywheel.com. They make there own wheels in-house at a good price. Only issue is you need to buy their center caps. They move the tabs from the outside to the inside. The have a nice bullet style baby moon that Im going with.

kevin, here's the link. the ad is for the 3 1/4" ones but email him...he has the 3 3/8" one too! he also has the 1 3/4" bullet lugs too if that's the look you're going for.
