Hub Bore Question

Howdy folks,
1978 F100 LWB, straight 6, just a quick question regarding the subject-
I recently bought some Dodge 20" rims for this truck, but have a problem with the hub bore size of the rim not matching the hub bore on the rotor (rim bore is about 3/8" too small).
I have used the search feature, and turned up few results.
Seems to me the easiest option is to have the hub bore milled out to fit the rotor? Has anyone had to do this? Looking for some useful insight folks.

thanks!

Search this and compare between vehicles.... Wheel Bolt Pattern Cross Reference Database and Conversion Guide

Then have the rotor machined to fit the wheel... not vice-versa.

Thanks HIO. I've got that part figured out. they are 5 x 5.5. problem now is hub bore. are brake shops willing to machine down the hubs? i would think not because of liability?

That database lists the hub bore diameter... one of the few that do and that's why I posted the link to answer your question.

Brake shops probably won't be able to do what you need done.. they'll resurface a rotor but are typically not equipped to do real machining that an engine or machinist shop would do.
