1997F-350, I wasn't trying to be a total *****. I just don't like Chevy/GMC vehicles.
And I always give their owners a hard time. Just sporting my brand loyalty! I'm glad to see you're in the market for a PSD project truck.
Fordbuddy, what did you do on the 97 to keep the rear slightly higher than the front? My 96 has the Sky Manufacturing shackle reversal up front and sits higher in the front. It had add-a-leafs up front too that I pulled out and am planning on putting in the rear to get the factory ride stance back.
I put a 2" block from an Excursion on top of the stock one..
I know that stacked blocks are a no no,but it has been like that for over 2 years without a problem. It was supposed to be temporary but we all know how that goes...

why not use add a leafs??? from what i have read ppl don't normally have problems stacking small blocks like that, it's just when they start trying to stack 2 4" or 6" blocks when there becomes a big problem. also with the added blocks you will add to any axle wrap that you may have had before.
