Replace the 7.3 with a 6.0

 

Well, I'll go with Alan's idea and get a 6.0 ltr. Then put about a 6 inch lift some nice 33's. A can-back topper, with gear rack. A good 12,000 lbs winch. Then I'd buy an H1 Hummer, the military issue, olive drab and all, and a good trailer to tow it on.

hmm...4" exhaust, Hypermax turbo, propain injection, nitrous injection, o-ringed heads, BTS tranny, Big Sucker airbox. That's all I can think of for right now.

 

I would prob. buy a 2wd excursion with a 7.3L, twin turbo it , head work , blower cam, 2 1/2 custom headers, tub it to fit 33X19.5X16 inch slicks in the back , full rollcage, and a big shot of propane and have the quickest excursion in the world !!!

 

The 6.0 is nice, especially the tranny and tow mode. We got to see some live dyno comparisons of it against the Chevy/Dodge offerings. The Chevy ain't bad (but the 6.0 still blows it away) but I'd be ashamed to drive the Cummins.... you can't polish a turd.

 

We have been thinking about selling the Centurion and buying a new 6.0, it's that "Sign Here" bit that's the hold up

 

Go all out and order a F550 4X4 CC, get a custom bed, 12 inch lift , Super Swamper Bogger tires, custom turbo fed by a supercharger (similiar to what the semi truck pullers do) and of course still be street legal.
