Sorry for hijacking this thread , but the shackels interest me. After using the shackel kit can the front spring bracket be raised to lower the truck a little more ?
let me start by saying that as of right this second i am out of the custom(bagged, lowered, etc) truck game...however, just because you bag or lower a truck does not make it unusable nor does it "go to waste" i had an 88 f150 that was bagged on 22s and it was my only vehicle and even after i bought my explorer i continued to use it as my daily driver for quite sometime. granted i had a roll pan and couldnt pull a trailer but there has been many other guys with bagged and even body dropped trucks that still retain their original look and sometimes even original parts except for the suspension. i have also seen many bagged trucks with a bed full of stuff, fourwheeler and motorcycles included and off the top of my head i know of at least two duallys that are body dropped on big wheels that pull big goose neck car haulers regularly.
sorry for the rant but i just wanted to throw in my two cents. ive seen a few threads on here where people think that just because you lower or bag a truck that u cant use the truck like a truck but it is done everyday. im not saying its always the way to go its always your decision...to each is their own!
