What do YOU think I should do?

Should I lower my truck or not? I've debated on lowering my truck since I got it. I kinda like the stock stance I have now, but I was thinking I may just level the back out with the front, not sure yet. What do YOU think I should do? As it sits now:


It looks level in this pic, but it's not on level ground:

put a leveling kit in the front so it rides level. unless your gonna make it into a hot rod or a drag truck dont lower it. it looks like its in pretty great condition now. just level the front out. dont lower it!!

Don't Lower it.
It takes away from the originality your truck has.
Just level it out. (If you want)
although, if you haul a heavy load, it will level out by itself

i say level out the rear. its cheap and imo will make your truck look even better. nice truck btw!

Yeah that's what I may do more than likely. I know this is a stupid question, but would I just get lowering leaf springs or can I just take the blocks out of the leaf springs? Thanks for the compliment btw!

Thanks for all the replies guys! I like the idea of lowering my truck, but I know for a fact it may be a lot of $$$$ which I don't have at the moment lol. But I love the look of a lowered Dentside, just not sure yet I want to do it to mine though.

do you want to be able to use it as a truck or not?

if not, sure lower it, channel it to get the rocker panels right on the ground, and put 20" wire wheels on it.

the easiest way i have found to level out the rears is to the djm shackle kit that lowers the rear 2inchs. u get to keep ur current leaf setup so hauling stuff should not be a issue. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DJM-SH1014-2/Application/?query=Year|1976|Make|FORD|Model|F-150+PICKUP&prefilter=1 not a bad price for $50 bucks to level out the rear. eventually ill do a 3/5 drop on mine after paint

Well yeah considering it's the only pickup truck my immediate family has, I probably would use it one way or the other. Both my parents drive T***** suvs unfortunately.

that sure is one nice truck you got there it deserves the best i would put it on bag's ..so you can choose your ride height and there's a-lot of kits out there to make life a little easier. on top of that powerblock tv trucks did something similar with a chebby..very impressive.
