Hey guys long time no posting. new job has got my hours all messed up.
Anyway I wanted to let you all know after the mods in my sig. I have put on around 15k miles or so mixed driving / towing and have been very happy with the performance of the street tune from Eric at innovative and over all happy with all the mods.
I still have not done the studs and have been having living on borrowed time I know.... however now that I have a few miles on for myself the tunes from Eric are great.
When i did all the work I did several flushes on the coolant system and felt very good about the cleanliness of the entire system.
Yes, Yes, I understand that there has been a huge discussion on these filters and I agree completely that they are a great idea in most applications.
Moreover I wanted to report back to the forum that had givin me sooooo much advice and help with all and any questions I had over the years. I feel now I have a great running truck and am happy with the overall performance with Eric's mild street tune.
When i got the tunes I purchased the economy, street, and tow. I have yet to find a need for the tow.... I loaded the street and it performs great for my demands. When I put the camper behind it I use the tow/haul mode for the tighter shifts and if works great.
I do see some high EGT's from time to time but they drop very quickly when i peek the top of the hills. sometimes between 1000 and 1200 for a second or three.

JT.......you can flush and flush and flush and......you get the idea!!! And not get the casting sand out of these blocks. Through expansion and contraction it may come out for years dude!
The coolant filter as mentioned by the guys is a "must" in my books.
Good to hear your happy with your tunes....
