Sweet sounds
I parked next to a 2002 GT with the performace package and it sounded like it had 50 series flows or something. Like an imitation Flowmaster stock muffler. I got talking to the guy and looking underneath. It had 2.5 pipe and a h-pipe stock and it actually sounded pretty good. A little on the quiet side for my liking put it was ok(probably cause of the cats). This of course happened right after i had my new exhaust installed(2.5 pipe, 40 series twin Flowmasters) And we both though mine sounded a little better. Probably because of the lack of cats. My truck was a little throatier and more of a full raw sound while the mustang was more tinney and high pitched. So if you want that sound get 50,70,or 30 series Flowmaster mufflers. This is of course only my humble opinion.

If you want a nice sound listen to the new roush's or the old Saleen S351's or the new S281's. Those sound SWEET!!

Sweet sounds
The camshaft the Mustangs have are different than the ones in our trucks and give their exhaust that distinct sound... more of a raspy-screaming kinda sound. I like the way Flowmasters sound on the 5.4s and 4.6s... wub-wub-wub-wub-wub LOL
