Do the secondary sun visors break a lot? I just bought a truck and the passengers side fell off, and my daughter just broke the thread the driver's side was hanging by. Anyone have a link to some tan ones or know about how much they cost? Thanks in advance.
I guess it just bothers me that it's broken (seems crazy on an 11 year old truck, but honestly not that much is broken on it). I may just unscrew it and not worry with it soon - kinda depends on how bad it looks removed. Thanks for checking for me.
That little visor is what holds my insurance and regestration papers so if I get stoped, I can just reach up and hand the officer what he asks for without having to dig in the glove box.
EDIT: The first thing I do is ask the officer to hold my beer while I get the papers.
I can't say I've ever used the secondary visor. 1) it's too small to really do much 2) I thought that was the purpose of the bigger main visor, and that's why they made it swivel?
I've never had the sun shining in my side window AND my windshield at the same time that I needed them both. If I make a turn, I just move the main visor. I do like the extension that Chevy has on their visors. There's a number of times that the sun is at the back corner of the side window and still bothers me, and there's nothing I can do about it.
I would just pull out what's left of the little visors and call it good.
I checked with Ed on the price for replacements. You have to buy the 2 visors as a set and they ain't cheap.

I believe so. My truck doesn't have it, but my wife's 01 does. We're not missing much, they're not really designed that well and seem to be prone to breaking.
How "not cheap" are they? Just out of curiosity - if you remember. Thanks.
