I've been looking at the local 'yard specifically for this. My measurements seem to indicate that it will work. The latch where it secures is different so it might be worth it to get both parts.
Thanks for this info. I wonder if the 08 is the first year for the SD.

For that matter, the same basic cab was used 1999-2016, so you would think the sun visors are interchangeable.

I'm hoping that the newer sun visors will fit with none or little modifying.
This is what I'm trying to fix:
The stock sun visor covers the top gauge
I fold the corner of the sun visor so the gauge is visible
By changing to the newer sun visors, maybe I can address two issues by extending around the gauge; and, getting more shade coverage over the window.
I got these SVs from a local salvage yard out of an 08 F250.
I started disassembling the SV to see if I could transfer the extending arm to the original SV, so I could just use the same gray fabric.
After opening the tan SV and being able to see how the extending arm is situated, and looking at the original gray SV, it looked like it'll be easier just re-upholstering the tan ones.
Test fit one and the mounting holes lined up, so, it set right in with no modifying.
I spray painted the parts that couldn't be upholstered.
Next, I'll take them to an upholstery shop to finish them off.
