I dont want to have to buy a handfull of these things when I go grab one. I mine as well do this, seeing how i'm doing everything else right.

Just to much a pain to get somebody to drive you 20 mins to the auto parts store for one little thing.

I used a carriage bolt can,t remember what size it had short threads put it in from the Inside with the threads pointing out worked well didn,t cost a thing.

yea, Thats what I had in it, but the freeze plug would look better, thats all.

I talked to my buddy, and he was telling me a lot of parts stores do not carry them any longer.

Nearest napa is 45 minutes away.
