Hey guys my family has a 2004 F-350 XLT Crew Cab anyways about the tail gate my mother is having a hard time getting into the box of the truck and she was wondering if we could upgrade to one of the new tailgates that have a stepladder bilt into them?

 

As long as it's coming off another super duty you shouldn't have any issues. I think Ford added the step in 2005 or so. Heck, you might even get lucky and find a matching one in a wrecking yard.

 

Would She be interested in aftermarket steps. They are out there. I have a close friend that has one on his "lifted (10")" F250. It bolts to the inside of the gate and folds down, if desired, when needed. Post up if your interested - I will give him a call and find out where he got it. Far less work and expense.

 

Its okay dude i think she just wants the stock tailgate step up but thanks for the offer
