Ball Joint Problem

Went to replace my lowers. Got it out ok but discovered the are not the original joint. Problem is they are over sized and now the hole is to big. You can push the new ball joints in with your hand.

Not sure how to fix. Thinking about bitting the bullit and ordering new upper and lower arms and just fixing everything right.

Moog makes an oversize BJ. Most autoparts stores carry it.
Part Number: K8695T006
•Front Lower
•Problem Solver
•Oversized Ball Joint
•Fits Control Arm With 1.749 Inch To 1.753 Inch Inside Diameter

problem is the ball joint I took out is 1.760. I dont have a way to measure the ID but with the OD being that large I have to assume the ID is close to 1.760.

im wondering where the 1.760 ball came from ? If you get along with the Auto Parts store, you might ask to look at a ball that fits a few years newer and few years older truck and see if they changed sizes ? If they would let you look at several in stock, maybe you could find one that fit. I will bet it came off another truck, and not a double overisze for the EXP.
